Financial support of a project or purchase of equipment
For example, you can sponsor an IT project or help facilitate the purchase of a new forklift.
Financial support in the coverage of our fixed costs
We can always use help in covering the cost of things like transportation, maintenance, rent or energy bills.
Support us directly with equipment and other materials
We regularly need equipment such as forklifts, transportation vans, crates or computers. If you have any of these (or other) items that you no longer need, we would like to hear from you!
Workplace fundraising event
You can place a charity collection box at your company or donate money to Voedselbank Amsterdam directly. You can also organise a fundraising event where your employees donate to us directly through a link or QR code. We can help you track the donations (without collecting personal data). Or you might organise a sporting event where you donate the proceeds to us. Would you like to discuss your ideas with us? Please contact our fundraising department at fondsenwerving@voedselbank.org.
Sharing knowledge and CSR experience
You can also support us in other ways by donating you knowledge and experience, for example by offering your services free of charge whether you are a lawyer, accountant, caterer or printer.
Organising a food drive or donating your food surplus
You can also help us by donating food whether as a result of a food drive organised by your staff or by giving us your food surplus. We are always in need of dry groceries and canned foods: things like pasta, rice, soup, coffee, tea, cereals, spreads and vegetable oils. If you need more information, please contact us.
You can help us most by delivering the food yourself. This is possible on Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 16:00 at our warehouse at Archangelkade 11 in Amsterdam. Please contact us beforehand to make sure we can receive your food donation.
Corporate Flex Programme
Voedselbank Amsterdam has a Corporate Flex Programme for companies that wish to send small groups of employees to volunteer on an occasional basis. Shifts take place on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 till 13:00. We have room for 6 to 8 employees per shift. The activities consist of the preparation of food parcels for distribution at our warehouse in the Houthavens area (Archangelkade 11, 1013 BE Amsterdam).
Due to the nature of our logistics, we are not able to offer volunteering possibilities for larger groups and/or on other days.
Due to the large amount of interest for our Corporate Flex programme, we are currently unfortunately not able to accept any new applications. If you would like to be put on our waiting list, please let us know via corporateflex@voedselbank.org.
